Internship period: August 1, 2011 to February 10, 2012
I am extremely thankful for the opportunity I had at Kim & Bae because I was exposed to the work environment of a law office. Not only did I become familiar with legal procedures and documents, but I also learned the business aspect of a law firm. I was given the opportunity to work very closely with the attorneys, from which I saw the intricacies of dealing with clients and drafting court documents. I also worked closely with Ms. Bae and saw that Mr. Kim and Ms. Bae set their own pace, which the firm is forced to keep up with. Kim & Bae is a very ambitious firm that is a reflection of its partners. Their ambition is surpassed by only their generosity. I sincerely felt like I was part of a family and team during my time at Kim & Bae, which I will never forget. I am proud to say that I worked with the Kim & Bae staff and for Mr. Kim and Ms. Bae, two special individuals who are carving a niche for themselves in history.
